Acute and lasting pain in the bones is the most common sign that a person might be having a bone cancer. The patients define this type of pain as itching and burning like it is eating from inside. It does not usually last for several minutes – the patients are likely to suffer for an extended period of time. Often, the source of such pain comes from within a certain bone. Various tumors around the bone area create another threat. Various therapies like the one against cancer may cause this outcome too.

Swelling in particular places. Sometimes, only the areas close to the bones may experience swelling. It is defined as a localized swelling. It can be a tumor or cutter mass. A clear sign like that determines that the bone cancer has already progressed. When it reaches the advanced level, it becomes difficult to cure it. The disease is supported by the continuous blood flow, which provides the necessary nutrients to spread cancer.

Irritation and inflammation are two more common symptoms of bone cancer. Each time the injured bone creates a tumor in the closest areas, the inflammation takes place. You should keep in mind that it’s not a primary symptom. The level of inflammation depends on the particular situation. Swelling usually happens in the fields where body tissues and nerves are unusually dense. To define it with the naked eye, see whether the skin around the bone is red.

Cracks, fractures, and other traumas of bones. It’s not that easy to break a leg or hand. However, if it’s simple for you to have your knee or fist damaged, it may be the sign of the weak bones. The bone cancer is rapidly expanding, so it makes the bones rather weak and sensitive. During the entire progress process, the situation may get even worse – the bones will finally turn extra fragile.

Rapid and immediate loss of weight. This phenomenon has a different nature, unlike Anorexia Nervosa, does. In the case of the bone cancer, the patient is losing the weight unintentionally: the bones become lighter. Think about: are you experiencing a lot of stress? Have you changed your daily ration? Do you train a lot? If none of these is the right answer, it might be an alarming sign. People with bone cancer may quickly lose up to 10 pounds or more!

Limited joint movement is one more possible symptom of the bone cancer. The cancer of this type does not necessarily start in the bone itself; it may occupy the joints. If cancer achieves an advanced level, the tumor in similar areas may become too huge and painful. The skin in that place will turn red. The limitations of joint movement will then become more visible. It negatively impacts the mobility.

Being tired and sleepy all the time. It is a common symptom of many medically identified disorders. The patient might get more than enough sleep (up to 10 hours) but remain drowsy. It forces the person to have more sleep, but oversleep does not help. It may only worsen other health conditions and overall dynamics. There are two types of fatigue: physical and mental. In the case of cancer, the patients experience both. First, they start forgetting things and having difficult times communicating with others. Second, they feel like laying down and taking a nap.

The patients with bone cancer are more likely to experience various infections. The immune system is weakened as the general bone structure gets weaker. The system does not manage to catch up with all changes and resist all threats coming from the outside. As a result, the organism lacks white blood cells. The absence of these elements in sufficient amount leads to the worse protection. Such people often face flu, colds, fevers, and other illnesses.

The absence of healthy appetite. As some people already know, the healthy ration per day should be around 2000 calories for a grown-up adult. However, a grown person with a bone cancer does not want to eat at all. These patients start eating less without recognizing it. Sometimes, they don’t have an appetite during all day long. It means that the organism throws all energy to resist developing cancer. That’s why the body becomes quickly tired. Except for the decrease in appetite, the patients can notice the drop in overall activity.

Bleeding and injuring without a good explanation. When cancer achieves the bone marrow, it receives a full control over the platelets. What does it mean? It means the blood running through the veins loses its normal ability to roll and condense. That is how it comes to regular bleeding and natural injuries. Such features as bleeding nose or knees are the best proof.
