Insufficiently moisturized eyes and mouth. It is also common that lupus patients have dry mouth and eyes. The reason for that is that the mouth does not produce enough amount of saliva anymore. It makes the patients drink water all the time. The reason of eyes dryness is similar. The eyes feel like full of sand inside because of the lack of fluid in tear ducts.
